Independent Study for PLT Secondary Modules

Want PLT Materials But Can’t Find A Workshop When You Need One?

Colorado PLT is experimenting with independent study opportunities to obtain our wonderful secondary modules. These materials are too valuable to be sitting on shelves waiting until enough educators find out about, register for and attend a traditional interactive workshop! So let’s try this:

1. Upon receipt of this registration form, the Colorado PLT office will email participants an online web-quest that introduces the Colorado State Forest Service, Project Learning Tree materials, grants, programs and additional information and materials.

2. Upon receipt of the completed web-quest, and a deposit check, the Colorado PLT office will mail the participant the PLT secondary guides requested.

3. Participants explore the activity guide from cover to cover, and revisit the PLT web-page to see online enhancements and links to specific additional resources. If possible, participants use at least part of one of the activities with learners in an educational setting.

4. Participants then contact the Colorado PLT office by phone or email to arrange a time for a brief conversation to discuss the module and its activities, and to share ideas, suggestions, additional resources, etc.

5. Upon successful completion of steps 1- 4, participants may keep the activity guides and will receive a certificate of completion.

Refundable Deposit Fees:
$50 for 1-2 activity modules,
$75 for 3-4 activity modules,
$100 for 5-6 activity modules.

Workshop fees:
$25 for 1-2 activity modules,
$45 for 3-4 activity modules,
$80 for 5-6 activity modules.
